Tessa shivered slightly as his deep laugh ran through her. First hot, now cold. She should have known, two hours in, that the night was going too smoothly. Slowly, Tessa turned around, then caught her breath as a familiar set of eyes the color of the Mediterranean Sea held her captive. Words failed her.

This was not the tall, lanky twenty-year-old kid she remembered flirting with her all those years ago. Time had transformed Colin from a boy into a beautiful man. And from the confident look on his face, he knew it. His eyes were so mesmerizing, Tessa couldn’t turn herself away. They were complemented by a straight, aristocratic nose along with high cheekbones and a strong jawline that framed a full, sensuous mouth. For a split second, Tessa wondered how those lips would feel pressed against hers. A dimple in his chin belied a hint of ruggedness to an almost too pretty face. His sun-kissed skin betrayed the long Buffalo New York winters.

Broad shoulders filled out the fitted sky- blue button-down shirt that hugged his muscular arms. Tessa could make out the definition of his washboard abs. Slim-fitting pants highlighted a trim waist and muscular legs. He could have been sculpted by one of the artists showcased in the lobby.
